Oh gosh, go right ahead. (: I don't actually have a policy posted on here but it's basically that you can edit whatever you want, just give credit where credit is due and don't put it up on paysites. Also, defaulting is one of the easiest (imo) things you can do with SimPE, so this is probably a good starter project. :D
